Management roadmap
SAGA aims to establish a decentralized democratic governance structure for the network in a progressive manner, ensuring the beneficial utilization of the network for all stakeholders and fostering a sustainable development framework.
In the rapidly evolving landscape of crypto markets, the concept of progressive governance holds significant importance. Founders, governance experts, and management teams endeavor to ensure that their entities serve the needs of their community while complying with regulatory standards. Within this governance framework, some projects excel while others fall short.
SAGA benefits from the experience gained through the SingularityNET Foundation ecosystem, which has evolved towards decentralized democratic governance. Initially, decision-making power resides at the Governing Board level, facilitating a smooth transition from the token generation event (TGE) to operational stability.
The governance roadmap of SAGA is characterized by flexibility, allowing for experimentation in setting decentralized governance standards. Rather than adopting a rigid roadmap at the outset, SAGA plans to finalize its decentralized governance initiative over the next year with community participation. Community input will be solicited on critical decisions impacting the network's existence from the outset, with a polling mechanism managed by the Governance Council.
During the initial phase, minor decisions on business strategy and operational matters will be made by SAGA, its partners, or the pool of network operations agents' owners. Over time, a Technical Council may be established to oversee the implementation of the technical roadmap. Milestones and development roadmaps will be regularly published on SAGA's website for community evaluation and potential voting by the Technical Council.
It is anticipated that SAGA's operations and platform network will take up to three years to become fully operational. During the first year, SAGA will engage with its token holders and community to establish and approve a progressive decentralized governance roadmap. This engagement exercise will include surveys and communications initiatives to gather community feedback on core issues.
One key aspect of this engagement exercise is determining the mechanism for network operation rewards distribution. Initially, all rewards will go to SAGA since it owns all network operations agents. However, a scheme for dividing rewards among owners of network operations agents may be approved by the community as new agents are introduced.
Overall, SAGA's governance approach prioritizes flexibility and inclusivity, ensuring that the governance roadmap is shaped by the community's input in a precise and representative manner.
