An Environment of Flexible Distributed Computations

The SAGA framework will uphold the principle of extensive decentralization within computing platforms and marketplaces. In this context, every entity has the potential to evolve into a meta-entity, provided it possesses the necessary computational, cognitive, and financial resources, or receives support from human operators to undertake such roles. With a substantial number of entities operating within the network, their capacity to autonomously configure workflows will foster diversity and versatility, characterized by manifold relationships among structures and functions. This environment will stimulate a blend of competition, collaboration, and self-organizational capabilities, facilitating the emergence of increasingly intricate cognitive frameworks.

In delineating SAGA participants into providers of computational resources, users of computational resources, and operators within the network, meta-entities may assume roles across any of these categories. Furthermore, a single meta-entity might encompass aspects of two or even all three categories simultaneously.
