Consumers

Consumers are individuals and organizations that seek machine intelligence, computational resources, and data from the SAGA platform and utilize the outcomes of business logic executed on the platform. Consumer demands will be integrated into the platform via task description APIs. Completed task results will be delivered to consumers through process validation and result description APIs. Payment gateways and aggregators will facilitate the financial aspect of interactions between consumers, providers, and operators.

Demands: Business requirements for AI services, data science workflows, or general computational processes; access to data and computational resources for their execution.

Capabilities: Ability to define tasks to be executed by the SAGA platform and interpret their results. However, most consumers of the SAGA platform will likely access it through integrations with technical and business partners.

SAGA offer: Enable consumers, either directly or through AI algorithms, to discover, utilize, and pay for computational resources and data on the SAGA platform via task description, process validation, and other APIs.

SAGA requirements: The primary requirement set by SAGA is the ethical use of the platform. Ethical guidelines will initially be proposed by SAGA but later shaped by the community and sub-communities within the platform. By default, anyone will be able to access the decentralized platform in a generally unrestricted manner, reflecting the core principles of decentralized Web3 technologies. Community governance following the SAGA governance structure will oversee the universal monitoring and enforcement of ethical guidelines, facilitated by the platform's verification and validation functionality.

Potential users: Individuals and organizations with complex computational and AI-related tasks and business requirements, but lacking the resources and expertise to implement and execute them using traditional methods.
